Midyetts Report

2008-03-04

Dear Friends:

All is well on the Australian front: Victor and Shirley arrived safely on Feb. 22, were driven to our area Saturday, and went to church with us Sunday. Pray that it will continue to be well for all of us by God's grace. We are indeed grateful for His mercies in spectacular ways that could only be coming from Him through your prayers. Thank you very much. It is so evident that it was right for us to migrate back to Australia at this time.

Anita prepared a lovely lunch for all of us and Victor's two older sons Matthew and Ben who drove them here from the Perth area. That was the first time so many of our family were together since 1992.

Vic is already seeing some improvement medically. We are grateful for widespread prayers on his behalf. His and Shirley's immediate needs are for a vehicle and a job for each. Vic's desire is eventually to become an importer/exporter of two types of plant pots he has designed. This has been his desire from the time he went to America 4.5 years ago. And Anita is in training to work with disadvantaged children. In the future she hopes to serve a month or two a year in an orphanage in India, and would carry her expertise with her. With God's blessing, who is to say they can't?

I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon in the Perth area on March 26. This first appointment is only investigative. I am feeling so well compared to what I was last month, that I believe the Lord is undertaking. "I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene ..."

Thanks again for your prayers, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Gratefully yours, as we press on in our calling: "Christ ... all and in all." (Colossians 3:11c)

Yours in His service,

JT and Sarah Midyett
